Reverse description A voided short cross pattée at centre, enclosed within a plain inner circle, with the moneyer's name legend distributed in the four angles between the cross arms in a manner consistent with contemporary Stephen-period penny reverses. The cross terminates at the inner circle and its arms are boldly rendered. An outer beaded border frames the coin, and the legend is divided into quadrants around the cross, following the standard York mint arrangement of the period.
