| Obverse description | Facing bust of the baron in the Ornamented style, depicted helmeted with a pointed conical helmet, wearing chainmail armour decorated with pellets and geometric ornament. The figure holds a sword upright before the face in the right hand, with the blade extending to the top of the coin. The bust is rendered in the bold, stylised hammered tradition of the Anarchy period, with pronounced linear detailing on the armour. The surrounding field carries the partial legend EVSTACIVS reading clockwise around the effigy. |

An outer beaded border frames the composition, with the mint and moneyer legend EBORACI TDEFL distributed around the field between the two borders. |
