| Opis rewersu | A short cross pattée is centrally placed within a beaded inner circle, its squared terminals clearly defined against the flat field. The cross is a standard devotional type common to late ninth- and early tenth-century Anglo-Saxon penny coinage. A beaded border separates the inner circle from the outer legend, which names the moneyer responsible for the issue. The hammered flan shows slight irregularity at the edges, consistent with hand-struck coinage of the period. |
