Obverse description Frontal bust of Bishop Conrad depicted in Romanesque style, facing the viewer, crowned and wearing episcopal vestments. The figure holds a crozier in the right hand and a bible or book in the left. The effigy is rendered in low relief with distinctive beaded detailing on the crown, characteristic of late 11th-century episcopal coinage from the Low Countries. The surrounding Latin legend reads PI CONRADIVS, identifying the issuer as Bishop Conrad, interrupted by a cross at the start.
