| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central plain cross with a pellet placed in each of the four angles, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The cross is boldly struck in high relief, characteristic of Ottonian-era episcopal coinage. Surrounding the inner circle, the Latin legend reads the bishop's name and title in capital letters. The overall design reflects the standard Carolingian-derived denarius type widely adopted by ecclesiastical mints of the Lower Rhine region. |
