Patard - Philippe II the Handsome

Descrizione del dritto	Central crowned quartered shield dividing the legend at twelve o'clock, bearing in the first quarter the arms of Austria, in the second those of modern Burgundy, in the third those of ancient Burgundy, and in the fourth those of Brabant, with the arms of Flanders displayed on an escutcheon en surtout. The entire device is executed in the hammered Gothic style characteristic of Burgundian Low Countries coinage of the period. The legend is contained between two concentric pearled circles, with the shield interrupting the outer legend at the crown.
