| 裏面の説明 | Stylized Sasanian-derived fire altar design, shown in a highly schematic and degenerate form typical of early Arab-Sasanian copper fractions. The altar motif, inherited from Zoroastrian Sasanian prototypes, is rendered in low relief with flanking attendant figures reduced to abstract linear forms. Marginal or border legends in Arabic or Pahlavi script may appear around the periphery of the flan. The overall execution is rough and irregular, consistent with the crude hammered technique employed for small-denomination copper coinage of the Rashidun period. |
