附加信息	Ardashir I consolidated Sasanian power after defeating the last Arsacid king, Artabanus IV, at the Battle of Hormozdgan in 224 AD — the same year this coinage type begins. The copper pashiz denominations are among the least studied of his issues, partly because they circulated hard in lower-market transactions and rarely survived in collectible condition, and partly because scholarly attention followed the silver drachms. The Göbl IV classification places this among the later type groupings of his reign, before Shapur I assumed co-regency.
