| Obverse description | Frontal bust of the Sasanian ruler in high-crested winged crown with lateral earflaps, rendered in the late Sasanian court style adapted by Arab-Sasanian die-cutters. The portrait is depicted facing, with facial features partially obscured by a central countermark or die wear. Flanking Pahlavi legends appear in the left and right fields. The overall style follows the debased Arab-Sasanian imitative tradition derived from Khusro II prototypes. |

| Reverse description | Central field bears a stylised fire altar flanked by attendants, rendered in a highly schematised, debased form characteristic of late Arab-Sasanian copper coinage. Surrounding the central device are Arabic and Pahlavi legends arranged in the field. The Islamic shahada inscription, affirming monotheism, appears prominently, reflecting the Umayyad policy of Islamicising coinage while retaining Sasanian iconographic conventions. The overall execution is coarse, consistent with provincial copper fals production under governor Yusuf b. 'Umar. |
