The king is depicted in the traditional late Sasanian court manner with elaborate hair and royal regalia. Remnants of a Pahlavi legend are partially visible in the surrounding field, following the prototype of the Sasanian royal coinage. The flan is irregular and shows the characteristic rough fabric of a small copper issue struck in the Arab-Sasanian tradition. |

| Описание реверса | Stylized Zoroastrian fire altar flanked by two attendants in profile, facing the altar, rendered in the standard Sasanian iconographic tradition. The altar is depicted centrally within a beaded border, with the two attendant figures shown in a schematic, somewhat debased style typical of Arab-Sasanian copper coinage of this period. Vestiges of a Pahlavi or Arabic marginal legend may be present in the field. The overall design closely follows Sasanian silver drachm prototypes, here adapted for a small copper fals denomination. |
