Reverse description Facing Sasanian-style bust or fire altar motif rendered in low relief, showing the characteristically schematic and degenerate style typical of late Arab-Sasanian copper coinage from Khurasan. The design draws heavily from Sasanian prototypes, with the central figure exhibiting stylized drapery and attendant elements flanking the main device. The fabric is coarse and irregular, a hallmark of locally struck hammered copper pashiz issues of this period. Visible green patina obscures some of the finer detail. The reverse field is largely devoid of additional legible inscriptions.
