Obverse description Central field features the crowned imperial cypher of Empress Catherine II (Ekaterina II), rendered as an ornate interlaced 'E' surmounted by a small 'II' beneath an imperial crown. The denomination '3 ДЕНГИ' appears to the left and the date '1771' to the right of the crown. Three decorative dots are positioned around the lower portion of the cypher — one to each side and one below — serving as ornamental punctuation. The coin edge is reeded, visible along the entire periphery. The design is bold and deeply struck in the pattern style.
