| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device consists of a prominent trident or trishula symbol rising from a broad horizontal base, rendered in bold relief with characteristic Kidarite schematic style. The upper portion of the trishula terminates in a rounded finial surrounded by a row of pellets or dots along the upper field. Brahmi legends are disposed around the central symbol in the field, partially preserved, reading 'Vi sri durla[bha]', referring to the ruler Sri Durlabha. The surrounding field is filled with crescent devices, floral or foliate ornaments, and additional decorative pellets, all executed in the flat hammered technique typical of this regional series. |
