Obverse description Elephant walking left in the central field, rendered in a bold, stylized manner characteristic of Mysorean copper coinage of the late 18th century. An arc or bow device appears above the animal, framing the design. The surface is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered copper fabric. The design occupies most of the flan with minimal border treatment.
