| Obverse description | Hammered copper flan bearing stylized Devanagari script characters occupying the central field, flanked by decorative dot ornaments and foliate devices. The design is characteristic of the crude hammered coinage of the Gwalior princely state, with irregular flan edges and bold raised lettering filling the entire field. The surface exhibits a natural olive-green and brown patina consistent with circulated copper coinage of the period. |
