| Reverse description | The reverse is heavily worn and largely featureless, retaining only faint traces of the undertype, which is identified as a portrait of Queen Victoria from the host coin over which this paisa was struck. The overstrike has largely obliterated the original design, leaving only ghosted remnants of the effigy visible under close examination. The field is flat and unadorned, with no surviving legend or border detail. The piercing hole is visible at the upper portion, corresponding to that on the obverse. |
