| Obverse description | Armored and draped bust of Jan II Kazimierz Waza facing right, wearing an elaborate crown, with long flowing hair falling over the shoulders in the Baroque style. The king's cuirass is richly decorated with engraved ornamentation, and a mantle is visible at the shoulder. The mintmaster's initials 'TLB' appear on the truncation, along with the Bydgoszcz mint mark. The peripheral legend in Latin is separated from the central effigy by a beaded inner circle, with a dentilated border running along the coin's rim. |
