| 正面描述 | Laureate and armored bust of King Karl X Gustav of Sweden facing right, with long flowing hair and ornate plate armor decorated with studded borders. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a bold Baroque style characteristic of mid-17th century Polish-Prussian coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading CAROLUS X REX SVECIAE or similar, separated from the bust by an inner beaded border. |

Elbing — modern Elbląg in Poland — was occupied by Swedish forces under Karl X Gustav during the First Northern War, and the city mint was pressed into operation to fund the campaign. This ort was struck under Swedish authority but issued in the city's name, a pragmatic arrangement that kept local commerce functional while the Swedish crown extracted economic utility from the occupation. The Kopicki reference 9667 places it within a narrow window of wartime production that ended when Swedish fortunes in the region reversed sharply after 1657.
