Obverse description The royal cypher of Charles XII (C XII) surmounted by a royal crown occupies the upper field, flanked by the mintmaster's initials RS on either side. Three crowns appear in the field, with the regnal date inscribed below. The design is rendered in a plain, utilitarian style typical of Swedish emergency copper coinage of the early eighteenth century.
