| Obverse description | Conjoined busts left of Johann Goercke and Otto von Schjerning in high relief within a raised inner circle, the foreground bust wearing a military uniform with collar insignia. The surrounding border features four laurel sprays at the cardinal points, with the name GOERCKE at top and v.SCHJERNING at bottom, flanked by the dates 1797 and 1910. A small engraver's signature appears in the field to the right of the busts. |
