Reverse description A large Gothic cross divides the field into four quarters, each containing a heraldic device: three passant guardant lions (England) in the upper central quarter, an Irish harp to the left, a rampant lion (Scotland) to the right, and a single passant lion in the lower central quarter. The central intersection of the cross bears the fineness and weight legend in relief. Both obverse and reverse share the same decorative fleur-de-lis border.
