| Beschrijving keerzijde | Quadripartite incuse square of archaic type, formed by two intersecting raised ridges dividing the sunken surface into four recessed rectangular compartments of roughly equal size. The incuse pattern is deeply struck and characteristic of early Greek coinage production technique, serving as the anvil die impression. The field of each compartment shows a granular, unworked surface consistent with early fifth-century Thracian mint practice. |
