Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Antiochene mint. The effigy displays a youthful portrait with finely engraved curling hair beneath the laurel wreath, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, occupying the full periphery of the flan. The overall style reflects the robust, high-relief engraving typical of Syrian provincial bronzes of the Severan period.
