The date numeral ΓΚ (year 23, corresponding to 104/103 BC) appears to the left of the central device in the field. The circular Greek legend TYPOY IΕPΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΣYΛOY surrounds the design, proclaiming Tyre as 'holy and inviolable.'
