Reverse description Central field displays a stylized cross or geometric motif set within a plain inner circle, enclosed by a beaded or rope border. The design reflects the austere Romanesque coinage tradition of medieval Navarre, with the motif rendered in low relief on an irregularly shaped billon flan. The peripheral legend NAVARORVM is partially legible around the coin's edge, distributed across the available space. Strike weakness and flan irregularity are consistent with hammered production methods of the period.
