| 裏面の説明 | A patriarchal cross (cross with two transverse bars) occupies the centre of the field, with the lower arm extending to the base of the flan. Two annulets (small rings) flank the upper crossbar above the main arm. Below the lower crossbar appear the Greek letters Alpha (A) and Omega (w), placed in the lower left and lower right fields respectively, symbolising the beginning and end as a Christian eschatological emblem. The design is executed in a bold, primitive hammered style consistent with Catalan medieval minting practice. |
