Obverse description A crozier (episcopal staff) depicted in the centre of the field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The crozier is rendered in a simplified Romanesque style typical of Catalan feudal coinage of the mid-thirteenth century. A circular Latin legend runs between the inner beaded circle and an outer beaded border.
