| Obverse description | Central field depicts a sword oriented diagonally. The design is enclosed within two concentric beaded or linear circles forming an inner and outer border. A partial Latin legend runs around the periphery between the two circles. As a cut half-obol, only approximately half of the original round flan survives, rendering portions of the design and legend incomplete. |
