| Beschrijving keerzijde | A fire altar depicted frontally at center, shown with a stepped base and tall flame rising from the altar bowl, flanked on either side by two attendant figures standing in profile and facing the altar, each bearing a staff or sword. This attendant-and-altar composition is the canonical reverse type for Sasanian silver coinage of the period. Small globular ornaments appear in the upper field flanking the altar. The scene is enclosed within a beaded border. Inscriptional Pahlavi legends appear in the field to the left and right of the altar. |
