Noricum's Celtic silver fractions remain among the least-documented coinages of the Alpine region, and attribution within the Svicca group continues to be revised as new hoard evidence emerges from modern Austria and Slovenia. Kostial's classification provided the first systematic framework, but the groupings are typological rather than strictly chronological — the two-century date span reflects genuine uncertainty rather than a long production run.
