Obverse description A right hand rendered in relief at center, with a dot in the middle of the palm, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The mint name legend is distributed around the beaded circle in Latin characters, the whole design characteristic of the crude but distinctive hammered coinage of medieval Catalan feudal counties.
