Reverse description A plain cross with a small annulet (ring) placed at each of the four angles formed by the arms, a design element typical of Catalan feudal coinage of the late 11th and early 12th centuries. The cross extends nearly to the beaded border, dividing the field into four quadrants, each occupied by one of the annulets. The striking is characteristic of hand-hammered production, resulting in uneven relief and flan irregularity consistent with the coin's period and denomination.
