| Reverse description | A clockwise triskeles occupies the central field, its three curved legs radiating from a central boss in a dynamic rotational composition. The motif is rendered in a bold, schematic style typical of the degenerate phase of Persis coinage. Vestiges of a degenerate Aramaic legend are present around the triskeles, though the inscription is largely illegible due to the progressive stylization of the die-engraving tradition. The flan edges are irregular, as is characteristic of this small hammered denomination. |
