| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure of the king facing right before a fire altar, his right arm raised in a gesture of worship or offering. The altar is depicted as a stepped or columnar structure in the centre of the field, rendered in low relief consistent with hammered Persis minor coinage. Additional schematic elements, possibly representing attendants or fire flames, flank the central scene. An Aramaic inscription is present in the field, identifying the ruler or containing a royal epithet. The overall composition is compact and consistent with the standard reverse type of Persis obols attributed to Oxathres I. |
