The eagle, facing, occupies the central field with wings spread and visible talons, executed in the angular, stylised manner typical of late medieval German municipal coinage. The unadorned field between the inner circle and the pellet border is flat and devoid of legend or inscription. |

| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is struck from the same die as the obverse (uniface bracteate-style technique), producing a corresponding incuse impression of the city arms: the eagle and inner circle appear sunken into the field, with the surrounding pellet border forming corresponding raised points on this side. The overall effect is a mirror image of the obverse in intaglio, characteristic of the thin, hammered bracteate-influenced small coinage of the Upper Rhine region in the fifteenth century. |
