The attendant to the left wears a crown surmounted by a korymbos, while the attendant to the right wears a mural crown, both rendered in profile facing the altar. The fire altar, a central symbol of Sasanian religious authority and dynastic legitimacy, is depicted in a stylised form characteristic of early Sasanian issues.
