The mintmaster's initials or mintmark letters flank the cross on either side within the field, dividing the design horizontally. The crown is depicted with three visible arches and decorative fleur-de-lis finials, rendered in the bold, somewhat crude relief characteristic of hammered Hungarian obols of this reign.
