| Reverse description | A plain cross pattée occupying the central field, dividing the coin into four quadrants. The cross is boldly struck and characteristic of medieval French feudal obol coinage. A circular legend surrounds the cross, separated from the field by a beaded inner border. The flan is irregular and slightly off-centre, consistent with hand-hammered production of the period. |
