| Reverse description | Central raised boss or pellet occupying the middle of the field, a hallmark feature of the Magdalensberg-type obol series produced in the Kingdom of Noricum. The boss is set within a slightly concave, worn field on an irregularly shaped flan with lobate edges typical of hand-struck Celtic coinage. The surface shows traces of additional low relief elements, possibly rudimentary design vestiges, though heavily obscured by wear and patination. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with the aniconic or near-aniconic character of these diminutive fractional silver pieces. |
