Beschrijving keerzijde	Reverse bearing a cross pattée or similar cross form occupying the central field, with the abbreviated legend ✠ DEI GRA PR (Dei Gratia Princeps, meaning 'By the Grace of God, Prince') disposed around the periphery in uncial Latin characters. The cross divides the field into four quadrants, a standard compositional arrangement for late medieval obols and petites monnaies of southern France. The flan is irregularly shaped with a characteristically uneven edge resulting from hand-hammering. Surface patination is dark grey-brown with areas of golden billon tone, consistent with a heavily debased silver alloy. The execution is rough, reflecting the low intrinsic value and utilitarian nature of this small fractional denomination.
