| Beschrijving keerzijde | A Winckelkreuz (swastika-like or triskeles-derived) cross motif occupies the centre of the field, with four arms radiating diagonally and a raised central pellet at the intersection, a hallmark design element of Noric fractional silver coinage. The quadrants formed by the arms each contain a large irregular pellet or globule, positioned in the upper left, upper right, lower left, and lower right fields respectively. Radial lines extend from the central cross towards the periphery of the flan, lending a sunburst or wheel-like quality to the overall composition. The design is executed in a bold, slightly irregular hammered style consistent with Celtic die-cutting practices. No legend or inscription is present. |
