| Beschrijving voorzijde | A plain cross pattée occupies the central field, its arms extending nearly to the inner border. The quadrants formed by the cross arms each contain a small heraldic leopard passant, rendered in a bold, stylized manner characteristic of Aquitainian hammered coinage. A legend in uncial Latin script runs around the periphery, enclosed between two beaded or toothed borders. The overall composition reflects the standard design conventions of mid-14th-century English feudal issues for Aquitaine. |
