Obverse description Laureate head of the Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial Egyptian style with a bold, slightly crude portrait typical of Alexandrian coinage. The laureate wreath is clearly delineated around the head. The Greek legend ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙCΑΡ ΔΟΜΙΤ CΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ (Autokrator Caesar Domitianus Sebastos Germanikos) runs around the periphery of the field.
