| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays a plain Greek cross with equal arms, boldly struck within a beaded inner circle. The cross is rendered in simple, unadorned relief typical of Carolingian minor coinage. Surrounding the inner circle, the mint legend ATISIODIRO CIVITS identifies the issuing mint of Auxerre (Autissiodorum), distributed around the periphery within the outer beaded border. The overall design is characteristic of the standardized Edict of Pitres coinage type introduced under Charles II the Bald. |
