| Beschrijving keerzijde | As a bracteate, the reverse displays the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the negative impression of the cross, crescent, flanking symbols, and rosette pressed through the thin silver flan. The surface is plain and unworked, typical of bracteate manufacturing technique. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Hungary's bracteate obols occupy a peculiar niche in medieval European coinage — thin, single-die struck pieces so fragile that many surviving examples are bent, cracked, or partially missing. The type flourished under the Árpád dynasty during a period when the Hungarian crown was repeatedly contested, with succession disputes between the 1170s and 1240s producing administrative discontinuity that left many issues anonymous by design or simply by the chaos of interrupted minting authority.
At 0.17g, losses from even minor corrosion are proportionally catastrophic to surface preservation.
