| 背面描述 | Bearded male bust facing left, wearing a radiate mural crown; Aramaic legend disposed around the periphery of the field. The reverse type likely depicts a dynastic or divine figure associated with the Persis royal tradition, with the inscription identifying the issuing ruler. |

Ardakhshir IV ruled Persis as a vassal king under Parthian suzerainty, one of several dynasts who maintained the old Achaemenid priestly traditions in Fars province long after Alexander's conquest had nominally ended Persian autonomy. The obol denomination in this series is genuinely scarce — Sunrise 686 documents only a handful of die-linked specimens, and Haaff's cataloguing of the 652A variety reflects a type known from very few collections.
