| Opis awersu |
Laureate head of Herakles facing right, rendered in bold relief with deeply engraved hair and a naturalistic, bearded visage. The deity's characteristic features — strong jaw, prominent brow, and full beard — are rendered in the Hellenistic artistic tradition. The surrounding field is plain, with no visible inscription on the obverse. The flan shows typical irregularity consistent with hand-struck bronze coinage of the period. |

| Opis rewersu |
A caduceus depicted upright at the centre of the field, featuring two intertwined serpents rising along the staff and spreading wings at the top, characteristic of Hellenistic civic bronzes. The device is enclosed within a dotted border. The Greek legend ΑΓΑΛΟΣ to the left and ΚΩΙΩΝ to the right flanks the central type, identifying the magistrate Agalos and the civic authority of the Koans. The design is boldly struck and typical of the island mint of Kos during the early second century BC. |
