正面描述	Eagle displayed in flight, facing left with wings spread and feathers rendered in fine parallel striations; the bird clutches a serpent in its talons, the snake's body coiling beneath. The composition fills the flan dynamically, executed in high relief characteristic of early Classical Elean coinage. The field is plain and unlettered. The eagle, sacred to Zeus, serves as the principal emblem of the sanctuary at Olympia.

背面描述	Facing head of a gorgoneion (or possibly an owl mask) rendered frontally at center, with pronounced schematic features and radiating foliate or wing-like elements extending symmetrically from the crown. The ethnic abbreviation FA (digamma-alpha, standing for FALEION or the Elean ethnic) is inscribed in the field, with F (digamma) to the left and A (alpha) to the right of the central device. The design is set within a slightly incuse square field, consistent with hammered coinage technique of the mid-fifth century BC.
