| Obverse description | Forepart of a horse prancing to the right, rendered in archaic style with a bold, rounded body and a flowing mane indicated by incised lines. A pellet appears in the upper right field. The lower register features a decorative ground line composed of a row of pellets, with a spiral motif visible beneath the horse's hindquarters. The entire design is set within the slightly irregular flan characteristic of early Macedonian silver coinage. |
