| Obverse description | Bare head of Herakles in left profile, rendered in archaic-to-early classical Greek style. The hero's facial features are boldly modeled with a strong brow and prominent chin, the scalp covered by the knotted Nemean lion-skin headdress whose mane folds are visible at the crown and nape. The design occupies nearly the full flan, with no legend or border, characteristic of small Peloponnesian fractional silver coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | Plain incuse square divided vertically into two halves: the right half bears a boldly engraved capital Κ (kappa), the initial letter of ΚΛΕΩΝΑΙ identifying the issuing city of Kleonai; the left half is further bisected diagonally by a raised triangular ridge in relief, creating a distinctive geometric pattern within the incuse. The incuse punch is deeply struck, typical of early Peloponnesian hammered fractional coinage. |
